Circular Environmental Impact of Recycled Building Materials and Residential Renewable Energy

چکیده
Building materials, due to their mass and energy-consuming production processes, drastically increase the embodied energy of construction. This study assesses circularity processes for construction industry with a life cycle assessment (LCA) case located in large cosmopolitan city. The research concludes that significant decrease environmental impacts results from shift recycled materials phase, as well changing landfill disposal method recycling. In particular, it was found use building (such cement, metal, concrete, or glass) during phase recycling methods lead an overall impact up 65%. work also underlines importance renewable systems. both wind solar systems, most caused are paid back second year gains system. However, recovery metal depletion requires 667 years. result provides evidence emerging need integrating circular regarding reusing energy-generating sector.

In residential section, Studies have shown that, along with the use of various household consumption management techniques, the so-called hubs of energy can also be used to improve the performance and management of home energy management. In each electrical energy system, customers are aiming to minimize their energy costs. In this paper, it can be seen that in each home a home-made residential...
متن کاملThe Study of Thermostat Impact on Energy Consumption in a Residential Building by Using TRNSYS
The present study investigates the effectiveness of thermostat control strategy in cooling energy consumption in residential buildings. To evaluate the energy consumption, two scenarios including a residential zone with and without the thermostat control system are assumed. The TRNSYS software provides an efficient numerical tool to model and evaluate a cooling system. Furthermore, since solar-...

Nowadays, the increase of fossil fuel consumption intensifies the crucial role of architects. As buildings consume over one-third of the used energy, the society of architects is held responsible for this consumption. Therefore, the amount of energy used by a building is directly related to its design; meaning that reduction of energy consumption should be targeted at the design stage. In this ...
